How to best use the potential of decarbonised gases, biohydrogen and biomethane in the first stage of the energy transformation in Poland?

Share

The panellists will focus their discussions on how decarbonised gases, biohydrogen and biomethane can be used by the largest recipients, what opportunities are provided by synergies with local governments in the production of large amounts of biomethane and how to build multi-scale sources of biomethane or biohydrogen for the refining industry. They will also present the most important Polish legal regulations and start a discussion on regulatory challenges at the European level. ECONOMIC & BUSINESS BLOCK

Achieving climate neutrality is not a one-phase process. Before the goals of European climate law are achieved, EU countries will have to undergo a multi-stage energy transformation process. Decarbonised gases, biohydrogen and biomethane, used as transition fuels (until green hydrogen is popularised), have great potential to speed up this process.
